Advertising Day on the Hill is an important and exciting event designed to dramatically demonstrate to lawmakers the power and passion of the advertising industry’s grassroots network—the members of the American Advertising Federation’s local clubs and federations from across the country. Attendees at previous conferences represented over half of the U.S. States and 13 of AAF’s 15 Districts. Because Advertising Day on the Hill will be a minimal cost event to all AAF members, your sponsorship dollars are necessary to underwrite the cost of the event.
"Attending the American Advertising Federation Day on the Hill event is not only an opportunity to understand some of the issues facing our industry, but a chance to become a part of the solution. I found this to be the single most helpful and insightful event in the AAF organization. It is an honor to attend this event." —Lisa Delaney, Governor, AAF District 15
"Participating in the Day on the Hill was possibly the most rewarding experience in my decade of AAF club leadership. Actively advancing our mission where it can have the most impact – on Capitol Hill – brought clarity to the work we’ve done as well as a new focus and energy to the work we’re still doing. It’s become a defining moment in my AAF experience." —Ace Evans, AAF Division II Club Representative
"I’ve been an active AAF member for over a decade and without a doubt, the Day on the Hill is the most exciting and meaningful initiative we offer our members. It truly opens the eyes of members who attend, and gives them a peek into the legislative process unlike anything else. It’s turns passive members to active ones, and turns active ones into our very best advocates." —Yeosh Bendayan, Secretary/Treasurer, AAF Council of Governors
"The absolute best experience I have had as a member of AAF has been the Day on the Hill. I have attended twice and will be back in March 2019 representing AAF District 10 as Governor. The team at AAF does an amazing job of scheduling fabulous speakers and one on one time with our legislators on the Hill. The time we get to discuss our industry with lawmakers is probably the best way I know to make my voice as an advertising professional and citizen known. What an awesome opportunity! Not only have I felt heard and acknowledged, I see results as a consequence of our discussions." —Larry Brantley, Governor, Governor, AAF District 10
