Orlando Baeza
VP of Brand and Creative, Chime
Orlando Baeza is the VP of Brand & Creative at Chime, where he leads Brand, Strategy, Social, Partnerships and the In-House Creative team. Prior to Chime, Orlando was CRO and CMO at Flock Freight, where he transformed Marketing, Communications, and GTM, winning a Cannes Lions along the way.
He has also been recognized as Forbes’ 50 Most Entrepreneurial CMO’s and Adweek’s Inaugural "Marketing Vanguard" list featuring 20 of the top CMO’s in the world. He’s also a Forbes’ 30 Under 30 alum. In his previous roles, he has overseen both B2C and B2B Marketing orgs, as well as leading Sales, Customer Success and Operations.
Over the course of his career, Orlando has served as CMO and led marketing functions at startup unicorns like Flock, Kajabi and BuzzFeed. Prior to this he held various marketing roles at global brands like Nike, Adidas, and Activision, where he focused on Call of Duty and Guitar Hero globally. He also led Brand Strategy at Paramount Studios where he led the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns around major theatrical releases like Mission Impossible, Jack Reacher, Fences and Office Christmas Party, among others.
On the personal side, Orlando is a husband to his wife, Aujai, and father of his two daughters, Ella and Ocean. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, he is the youngest of five, with four older sisters. He’s a huge sports fan and still roots for his hometown NYC teams—Go Knicks, Yankees, and Giants!
