As the first employee at 72andSunny, Evin represents a significant piece of its foundation and keeps it grounded by conserving its optimistic culture while scaling the business exponentially. As global Chief Operating Officer and Partner, Evin is responsible for turning the ideas and values of 72andSunny into action for its people, the company, and partners by setting the agenda and driving it daily. During her tenure, 72andSunny has grown from four employees around one table in Los Angeles to more than 700 across Amsterdam, Los Angeles, New York, Sydney and Singapore. In addition to the growth of 72andSunny, Evin has overseen the launch of Hecho Studios, a next generation content development and production company, the evolution and expansion of 72U, 72andSunny’s in-house creative residency program, and the launch of the creator network, Sundae. Evin has wielded 72andSunny’s mission and daily operations to simultaneously modernize 72andSunny’s business and help solve one of the industry’s biggest challenges -- diversifying access to creative careers. She led the way in developing 72andSunny’s mission to expand and diversify the creative class through evolved company policies and partnerships as well as the development of a long-term partnership with Da Vinci Schools, a Los Angeles-based network of charter schools. In 2017, Evin co-authored an open-source guide to combat the creative industry’s lack of diversity. “The 72andSunny Mission Playbook,” which was first published during Advertising Week 2017, encouraging other companies in the industry to steal its ideas and then bend them and make them their own. Selected to the 2017 and 2015 Ad Week 50, the 2015 iMedia 25 and a founding signer of Time’s Up Advertising, Evin’s also a member of the Da Vinci Schools Board of Regents and a contributor to Fortune’s Most Power Women network. Prior to the marketing world, Evin was part of the education and non-profit worlds via Teach for America, KIPP and City Year. At home, Evin and her husband are usually found cheering on her beloved Green Bay Packers amongst the chaos of life with their twins and dog, Lambeau.
