Laura Correnti

Partner, Giant Spoon

Laura Correnti is Partner at Giant Spoon, a full-service advertising agency that focuses on the intersection of creative and media through the lens of culture.

Since joining the agency in 2016, Laura has led its media strategy and buying with an expertise in content-driven partnerships. A firm believer in abandoning the RFP process of media planning, Laura and her team are injecting critical thinking and comms planning back into media. Idea-first, narrative-led is the way she goes to market, looking to create connections—not impressions. Under her tenure, Giant Spoon’s media clients include GE, MassMutual, Cole Haan, and more. Her track record of disrupting the media model and creating "firsts" for brand partnerships has helped her reel in Cannes Lions, Adweek Media Plan of the Year, Clio Awards, and Webby honors.

Laura has previous experience across tech, finance, industrial/B2B, pharma, beauty, fashion, ecomm/retail, appliances, and spirits businesses. She holds a Masters in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a BA from American University in Washington, DC.

Her media know-how culminates on her Panoply-produced podcast ADLANDIA, a biweekly listen that challenges age-old industry thinking and pushes for creativity, diversity, and new ideas in advertising and marketing.
