Integrated Creative Campaign
Recognizes the creative use of at least three types of advertising media (broadcast, online, radio, print, mobile, streaming, outdoor and in-app ads) to demonstrate an understanding of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities audiences.
Student Impact Award
Recognizes a student’s creative use of advertising to drive positive change in their communities. Executions can include broadcast, online, radio, print, mobile, streaming, outdoor, and in-app ads.
Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited U.S. educational institution. Student interns are eligible to enter. Work must be created while the entrant is a student and not employed in the advertising industry between January 2022-December 2022.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) Student Programs
Recognizes a company or organization for their development, execution and management of programs designed to increase student diversity, equity, & inclusion and the awareness of various career opportunities within the advertising industry.
Talent in Advertising
Recognizes a company or organization that demonstrates a strong effort to use professionals that identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and persons with disabilities, in the execution of their campaigns—in front of and behind the camera. Diverse “talent” can include actors, models, writers, production teams, cinematographers, sound engineers, etc.
Recognizes a company or organization that demonstrates a strong effort to recruit, retain, and promote BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities. Winners in this category will have successfully developed programs (i.e., ERGs and/or BRGs) that enhance employee allyship, inclusion and understanding of the various ethnicities and cultures within the corporate environment.
Recognizes a professional that has been continuously supportive of and goes above and beyond diversity, equity, & inclusion within the industry. This individual has demonstrated unwavering belief in this cause through mentorship, leadership, support of DE&I initiatives, and by implementing cutting-edge strategies & approaches for addressing diversity issues, among other acts.
Allyship to Advocacy
Recognizes an individual, company, or organization for projects that gives voice to BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or people with disabilities. Their work increases viewers' perceptions and understanding of historically underrepresented communities.
Recognizes an individual, company, or organization for non-traditional storytelling (i.e., art, music/audio, podcasts, influencer marketing, experiential) that extends beyond stereotypical portrayals and depicts BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or people with disabilities as the multifaceted and dynamic groups they are.
Data Driven Transformation
Recognizes a company or organization whose use of data and analytics delivers high-tech solutions and unique experiences that has an impact on underrepresented communities.
