FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Florida Privacy Legislation

Tallahassee, FL, March 3, 2022
—AAF Florida Leaders: As you may know, privacy legislation is making its way through the Florida legislature. It has passed the House and has been sent to the Senate. AAF believes the legislation is flawed and being unnecessarily rushed through towards passage before the schedules March 11 adjournment. AAF and some of our allied associations are planning to submit comments to lawmakers. I hope that your local ad club will sign on also as the message is more effective if lawmakers know that it is coming from the local, as well as national industry.

March 7, 2022 Follow up: Thank you to AAF Space Coast, Broward+Palm Beach, Tampa Bay, Daytona Beach, Treasure Coast and Orlando for your quick response and signing on. The message is stronger with strong local representation. Thanks also to Jack Hebert for sharing intelligence and doing such a great job representing the industry in Tallahassee.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for all you do for AAF and the advertising industry.
