VP, Global Senior Account Director, Energy BBDO
Greg Morrison is the Vice President, Global Senior Account Director at Energy BBDO. Greg currently leads the Orbit Gum brand for Mars Wrigley, a client-agency relationship of 85+ years.
Greg joined Energy BBDO after graduating from the University of Illinois College of Media with a degree in Advertising. As an undergrad, Greg was a member of U of I’s largest-in-the-nation AAF chapter and a three-time NSAC competitor, including leading a team to the national Finals for Coca-Cola during his senior year.
Greg began his career at Energy BBDO as an account management intern across whiskey brands for Jim Beam, later joining the Wrigley team to develop campaigns for 5 Gum, Orbit, Juicy Fruit, Doublemint, Spearmint, Winterfresh, Big Red and Hubba Bubba. During his time on Wrigley, Greg led partnership programs with NBA, MTV, DreamWorks and Coachella, and received a Gold Effie for the Orbit Big Pak launch campaign.
Following Energy BBDO’s global SC Johnson business win, Greg joined the team to lead digital work for Ziploc, OFF! and Raid, including launching the brands across social media platforms.
Prior to re-joining the Wrigley team in 2017, Greg led new business development for four years, creating new client partnerships including Bud Light, Kohl’s, ZTE, Claritin, Kerrygold, Home Instead Senior Care, American Egg Board, and the National Safety Council. Since then he has worked at BBDO offices in Melbourne and Shanghai to adapt global campaigns and develop a process for integrated comms planning.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys cycling throughout the Midwest, traveling the world with his wife Jessica, and holding out hope that the Chicago Bears can win a game for once. Bear Down!
