Chief Creative Officer, DDB North America
As Co-President and Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Chicago, Britt Nolan has been responsible for the worldwide network’s flagship office.
He arrived at the agency in 2009 to work on Allstate, and shortly thereafter created the iconic “Mayhem” campaign, which was inducted to the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame in 2011. In 2016, he rose to CCO and in his first year at the helm, Leo Burnett Chicago won “Agency of the Year” at the Clios.
Other notable projects include putting Van Gogh’s bedroom on Airbnb, launching #DoWhatYouCant for Samsung with the help of a flying Ostrich, and most recently, Country Time Lemonade’s “Legal-ade,” which helped changed laws around the country that prohibited kids from operating lemonade stands.
His work has won hundreds of industry awards, including Gold, Yellow, Black, Grand Prix or Best of Show at every major advertising festival in the world. He also sits on the Board of Marwen, a school that provides free visual arts education and college and career programming for Chicago’s young people from under-resourced communities.
Britt lives with his wife, Catherine, and their four kids, Hannah, James, Will, and Jack, a 150-pound dog named Lucy and a 5-pounder named Dave.
Britt recently announced he is leaving Leo Burnett to take on the role as Chief Creative Officer of DDB North America.
