Multicultural Integrated Campaign
Recognizes a mix of three (3) or more related campaign media (traditional media, digital, interactive media and experiential) that demonstrates an understanding of and sensitivity to targeted ethnic audiences and their buying practices and behaviors. The winner of this category has also demonstrated the value in targeting multicultural markets. Campaign submissions can include any of the listed mediums: broadcast, online, radio, print, mobile, streaming, outdoor and in-app ads. SAMPLE SUBMISSION
Student Impact Award
Recognizes students for their creative executions that leverage advertising to drive positive change in their communities. This can include any of the listed mediums in the campaign: broadcast, online, radio, print, mobile, streaming, outdoor and in-app ads. Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited U.S. educational institution. Student interns are eligible to enter. Work must be created while the entrant is a student and not employed in the advertising industry between January 2020-December 2020.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) Student Programs
Recognizes a company or organization for their development, execution and management of programs designed to increase student diversity, equity, & inclusion and the awareness of various career opportunities within the advertising industry. SAMPLE SUBMISSION
Multicultural Talent & Suppliers in Advertising
Recognizes a company or organization that demonstrates a strong effort to use multiethnic professionals—in front of and behind the camera—in the execution of their campaigns. The winner of this category uses diverse talent (i.e. actors, models) and suppliers (i.e. writers, production teams) to promote and market their brand.
Recognizes a company or organization that demonstrates a strong effort to recruit, retain, and promote persons from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Winners in this category will have successfully developed programs that enhance employee sensitivity, inclusion and understanding of the various ethnicities and cultures within the corporate environment.
Recognizes an individual, company, or organization that continuously goes above and beyond in their support of diversity, equity, & inclusion within the industry. The winner demonstrates an unwavering belief in DE&I through mentorship, leadership, support of program initiatives, and by implementing cutting-edge strategies and approaches for addressing diversity issues.
Allyship to Advocacy
Recognizes an individual, company, or organization for content that gives voice to underrepresented multicultural communities. Through their work, they increase the viewers' perceptions and understanding of multicultural communities.
Recognizes an individual, company, or organization for non-traditional content (i.e. art, music/audio, podcasts, influencer marketing, experiential) that extends beyond stereotypical portrayals and depicts multicultural communities and individuals as the complex, multifaceted and dynamic groups they are.
Data Driven Transformation
Recognizes a company or organization whose use of data and analytics delivers high-tech solutions and experiences that has an impact on underserved and/or multicultural communities.
