The American Advertising Federation Honors Multicultural Advertising at the 21st Anniversary of the Mosaic Awards

Washington, DC, July 21, 2022—Today, the American Advertising Federation (AAF) announced the 2022 Mosaic Awards honorees, who will be recognized for their unwavering commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through their creative work, advocacy and company-wide initiatives. Each year, the AAF receives entries from companies and agencies across the country that are reviewed and judged by senior industry leaders. This year, we will celebrate the 2022 winners during the Mosaic Awards, which will be held on September 9, 2022, at The Capitale in New York’s historic Bowery neighborhood.

A record number of submissions were received, resulting in a 135% increase from last year’s awards. This reflects organizations’ true commitment to amplifying multicultural voices and their desire to have their impactful work celebrated by the Mosaic Awards. All winners embody the Mosaic Principles—an action-oriented roadmap to create a more inclusive industry.

“As the world regains normalcy, multicultural communities are still working to balance the lingering impacts from the pandemic, racial injustice, and economic uncertainty. Authentic and purposeful creativity has proven it can positively impact society. The AAF continues to honor diverse and inclusive stories on a deserving stage at The Mosaic Awards for the past twenty years,” said Melanie Mitchem, AAF Mosaic Council Chair.

This year’s Judges Council includes senior executives from Amazon Advertising, Constellation Group, LERMA/, LinkedIn, Logitech, Meta, Mondelez, Ogilvy, Snap Inc., The Walt Disney Company, TikTok and Wieden+Kennedy.
