
The 2nd Annual Mosaic Career Fair connected talented advertising, marketing
and communications students with industry professionals who are seeking
entry-level candidates. The career fair was open to all college students,
and minority students were encouraged to participate. Students and corporate
recruiters were brought together for one day to discuss potential career
opportunities.
The students also participated in several professional development seminars.
The seminars were designed to increase knowledge about resume writing, interview

On March 10, 2005, the AAF held its Mosaic Career Fair with USA TODAY.
This successful day consisted of over 231 students from all ethnic backgrounds. The feedback received from students was outstanding. Students took advantage of the opportunity to have their resumes critiqued, meet with recruiters from local and national ad agencies, media companies and clients as well as attend educational seminars to gain valuable information and tips to put their best foot forward. During lunch students were greeted by Wally Snyder, AAF President and won 9 great prizes during the surprise drawing. They also had the opportunity to see the work in action with a panel that included the client Wayne Wielgus, Executive VP and Chief Marketing Officer for Choice Hotels International; the ad agency Diego Vaccarezza, Media Director for MPG-Arnold, Boston and USA TODAY Kathy Vu, Director of Mid Atlantic Advertising Sales at USA TODAY. This session was moderated by Tony Hill, VP of Enterprise Business Development and allowed the students to gain an inside look at the cooperation and interaction that exist to drive results.
