2006 Barton A. Cummings Gold Medal Award Recipient: Jay Egan

The 2006 Barton A. Cummings Gold Medal Award is presented to longtime AAF volunteer Jay Egan of the Great Falls Advertising Federation.

Jay Egan, pictured at right accepting his award at the AAF National Conference 2006, has served the Great Falls Advertising Federation (GFAF) in countless volunteer positions, including as president, board member, District 11 Conference chairman and active participant on numerous committees. He has also served the national AAF as chairman of the AAF Western Region Conference, lieutenant governor of AAF Montana, governor of District XI and national board member. Egan has received numerous honors including the District XI Silver Medal, GFAF's Golden Garter, Honorary Membership, Scriver Bronze and Sweepstakes Awards. He has been involved in all 38 C.M. Russell Art Auctions, GFAF's annual fundraiser. Egan is also a consistent inspiration to AAF's National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) team competitors, having participated in the NSAC for more than 40 years.
