Advertising Education
Awards for advertising education are given to the AAF member clubs whose
programs improve the skills of professionalism and standards of
advertising
practitioners. Education programs also provide an understanding of, and confidence in
advertising and its contributions to the community and economy.
The Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Education Awards are presented annually to signify Saatchi & Saatchi’s commitment to advancing the professionalism and high standards of the industry. Saatchi & Saatchi provides a grant for all advertising education winners. In addition Advertising Federation of Louisville has won a grant for overall excellence in advertising.

Public Service
Awards for public service are given to the clubs whose projects most
effectively use advertising techniques to support local, regional or national programs on
behalf of the public interest.
G.D. Crain Jr. Memorial Awards for Public Service
To honor the chairman and founder of Crain Communications, Inc., the G.D.
Crain Jr. Memorial Award for Public Service was designed to encourage and stimulate
high professional standards for public service advertising by AAF member clubs.
The G.D. Crain Foundation provides a grant to each first-place winner in the public
service category and to the winners of the Ad 2 Public Service Competition.
Jim Fish National Public Service Award
Jim Fish, an AAF founder and former marketing head of General Mills, was a
proponent of local advertising clubs playing an active role in public service
advertising. As a fitting tribute to Jim Fish, a grant is awarded to all first-place
winners in this category.
