June 4, 2011, San Diego, California — The American Advertising Federation presented its 2010–2011 National ADDY® Awards for advertising creative excellence at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel as part of ADMERICA!, the Federation's annual national advertising conference.
Of the 1382 entries received at the national level of the three tiered competition, 87 professional gold ADDY® Awards, 156 professional silver ADDY® Awards, 26 gold student ADDY® Awards and 39 silver student ADDY® Awards were presented.
Entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy. Leo Burnett captured Best of Show for the Mayhem Television Campaign for Allstate Insurance.
Student Best of Show went to Pitha Udomkanjananan, a student at the Academy of Art University for his work on ESPN Radio.
