Coordinator, Grassroots Member Services & Special Events

 

Summary

The American Advertising Federation has a full-time position available for a Grassroots Member Coordinator that will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the membership department. The coordinator will also work to assure the success of several national events.

1–2 years of experience desired. Reports to Executive Vice President of the Club Services department.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete working knowledge of recognition programs

  • Coordinate, participate and execute recognition programs

  • Develop promotional materials for programs

  • Serve as liaison with grassroots membership, national committees and various programs and special projects

  • Respond to member inquiries

  • Assist with billing, collections

  • Responsible for various meeting preparations

  • Monitor revenues and expenditures in assigned area to ensure sound fiscal control

  • Assist with database maintenance and record keeping

  • Assist with development and execution of club retention and recruitment plans

  • Determine project/program work procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations

  • Use judgment and initiative in selecting the most effective work methods/tools to determine a proper course of action
