Implement discipline rotation programs.
Discipline rotation programs allow professionals to experience the organization through new eyes, exploring their own talents and new ways to contribute to the success of their company. This is a great way to offer employees the opportunity to grow and thrive under one roof. Take a look at a few examples below!
- Ogilvy & Mather Associates Program: a year-long rotational program designed for recent college grads. The program gives participants an opportunity to work in the industry and to experience different departments before deciding where they would like to focus their careers. At the end of the program, associates will have the opportunity to be placed within the company. For many former associates, the program has helped accelerate their rise through Ogilvy.
- WPP Fellowship Program: WPP's unique annual Fellowships for graduates and MBAs aim to develop high-calibre management talent with experience across a range of marketing disciplines. The program is unique in its multi-disciplinary approach and is designed to complement the recruitment activities of individual companies.
- ADVERTISING CLUB of New York’s i'mPART Fellowship Program: a year-long experience for selected applicants who submitted winning applications judged by the ADVERTISING Club of New York’s Foundation Board; over 100 women applied or were nominated in 2016 for the Fellowship to be a part of this unique, AD Club-curated experience that gives the winners, who range from having only three to nine years of experience in the industry, access to unparalleled training opportunities.
- IPG’s InterAct Associates Fellowship Program: Launched in 2004, this two-year fellowship program seeks to recruit, retain and develop an internal pipeline of multicultural talent with multi-disciplinary experience.
