Jean currently leads day to day creative for Disney Parks and Resorts at Disney’s Yellow Shoes Content Group. Named one of Business Insider's 30 Most Creative Women in Advertising and celebrated as one of Advertising Working Mothers of the Year by AWNY and Working Mother Magazine in 2015, Jean previously was an Executive Creative Director at DDB Chicago. Where she added Kohler and the American Cancer Society to their client roster. She helped launch and lead LaunchPad, DDB Chicago’s creative internship program and is a big believer in the power of young diverse talent as well as the importance of mentorship and sponsorship. An advocate for changing the ratio of men to women in creative leadership roles, she proudly sat on the Better by Half Board, a gender balance initiative from DDB North America and received the 3% Conference 3 Cheers Award of 2015 and the 2016 Focus Award from Women in Film Chicago.
A native New Yorker, Jean has more than 20 years of experience building brands and growing talent at BBDO, M&C Saatchi, Merkley + Partners and Saatchi & Saatchi. Her work has been recognized by the national Addy Awards, AICP Awards, Clios, Effies, New York Festival, London International Awards, the AD Council's Gold Bell, Communication Arts Advertising Annual and Lürzer's Archive. Jean has written for the Drum, Advertising Age, Communication Arts, spoken on panels at the New York Festival, Omniwomen, the 3% Conference, Lake FX SUMMIT + Expo and the Midwest Independent Film Festival and judged the One Show, New York Festival and the Bernbach Diversity scholarship.
She is the proud mother of two teenage daughters who continue to teach her and inspire her to make the world a better place. Jean is engaged to playwright, director and actor Graham Brown.
