Managing Director, Marketing Strategy and Digital–Consumer Bank, JP Morgan Chase
Karna Crawford is a recognized leader, known for guiding brands and organizations in their transformation towards the future. She taps heavily into her background in engineering, to marry rich data, analytics and practical process with creativity and innovation, to transform businesses and grow teams.
At JPMorgan Chase, she is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Marketing Strategy, Media and Digital, for the Consumer Bank division. In this role, she is responsible for leading the organization in elevating media, digital and core integrated marketing, and transforming the organization towards the future. This includes expanding their digital acquisition capabilities, rethinking their omni-channel marketing experiences for consumers, retooling mobile experiences, training the organization in digital, media and integrated marketing processes and tools, and introducing the organization to new partners that can elevate not only how they connect with consumers in new ways, but also how they get that work done internally. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer of the Consumer Bank, Karna and her team are beacons and advocates for how to deliver excellent, high performing consumer experiences across channels.
Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Karna led integrated marketing communications, brand analysis, media and other roles for Fortune 500 companies, including The Coca-Cola Company, Miller Brewing Company, and various Publicis Groupe agencies.
Karna’s passion extends beyond the work she and her team delivers for consumers. She is about inspiring and developing people, talent and teams. As a Board of Directors member of the International Radio and Television Society (IRTS), as well as the Executive Sponsor of the JP Morgan Chase Tri-State Chapter for their Black Business Resource Group, she focuses heavily on increasing diversity and inclusion within her organization and the marketing and advertising industry overall. Recently, recognized as a Digiday Changemaker and a CDO Club Top Influencer, Karna is a transformer, elevating the marketing and advertising industry in both the work they do and the talent they develop.
Karna received a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering with a Business minor from Tulane University and an MBA in Strategy & Leadership from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
